TW002 pendant light, also known as the “Triennale,” is timeless in appeal. One of Tapio Wirkkala’s first lighting fixture designs, “Triennale” was first displayed at the Milan Triennale in 1951.

Concept

In the designing of the pendant lights that form the Artek collection, great attention has been paid to meeting two criteria. Each light should be seen and must satisfy aesthetic demands, while the quality of light cast should be exceptional, bright-toned, and diffuse.

Artek’s pendant lights are united by their sculptural presence, which can be appreciated whether they are illuminated or not.
